About Me

Originally from Louisiana, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and my Master of Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans. I have practiced in a variety of settings, from the inner city of New Orleans, through the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Southwestern Virginia, with the proud men, women and families of the military services in Fayetteville, and now here, in the Triangle since 2003.

I was called to do this work from a young age, and the last twenty years as a psychotherapist have been the most wonderful and exciting journey. I am honored to meet each new client where they are, to take the first steps on their new adventure towards growth and healing, and I'm honored to have the gift of witnessing the process of people restoring themselves to wellness.
